As I was stumbling through music this weekend I found a
recording of Zappa's Joe's Garage.  This reminded me ---
What the hell happened to the youth that argued about the
health of the government.  Now that fight about what they can get
from the government. Zappa and many other musicians of the
70s and early 80s tried to get the youth to understand what was
going on around them, but here we are today. We have not
solved the same problems they spoke about then.  Your parents
told you to eat all the food on your plate because of the starving
children in Africa.  That stopped when we started to want to sent
them the food on our plate.  We have seen the FUNDS for Africa
programs on television for over 30 years.  What have we solved
with these so called politicians except somehow ask them for laws
to solve every little problem.  You had better wake up this may be
it.  Once we were the only place in the world were everyone
looked to as a utopia.  Now we are a world wide joke.  Suicide
